Translation into English

I do not know from where you have neglected to write and to signal to me the quickest [way], either through a man or through some student of the scholar coming to us about your health, and even if I am not with you in body, yet in spirit I am with you, and I ask you to write to me, so that I may learn about your health. I know your intention in all things. For this reason, I have made use of [this opportunity] first to remember God, and then to signal [to you].

† I do not know why you neglected to write and inform me as quickly as possible,
either through a person or through some servant of the scholar who was coming up [to us],
about your health. Even though I am not with you in body, yet indeed I am [with you] in spirit and not [absent].
Write to me, so that I may know your health. [Regarding] your safety [or salvation]...
For I know your good intention in all things. For this reason I have asked [you]
first to remember me before God, and then to inform [me]...
