Πετεμενεκῦσιν τὸν ὁριοδείκτην φασὶν ἀναβεβηκέναι πρὸς σὲ καὶ καθήμεθα ἀργοὶ αὐτὸν ἐκδεχόμενοι ἐν ἀναμετρή[σ]ει κοίτης (ἀρουρῶν) ι̣α̣ καὶ πρὸς ὁμορούσης ὑπολόγωι τῆς μητροπόλεως.
ζητεῖται ἐπίσκεψις ὑπ[ολ]όγου ιε (ἔτους) καὶ ιζ (ἔτους) μητροπόλεως καὶ ὁ ταύτης γραμματεὺς καὶ ὁ ὁριοδείκτης.
ἐὰν δόξῃ σοι οὖν, κύριε, εὐθέως αὐτοὺς πέμψον πρὸς ἡμᾶς ἐν ἀγρῷ καθημενοις (*).
θεῶν δὲ θελόντων αὔριόν σε ἀσπασόμεθα.
ἐρρωσθαί σε εὔχομ(αι), κύριέ μου.

Hermaios to the most honorable Apollonios, greetings.
They say that Petemenekus, the boundary marker, has ascended to you, and we are sitting idle, waiting for him in the measurement of the bed (of the fields) and towards the neighboring account of the metropolis.
An inspection of the account is sought for the 15th (year) and the 17th (year) of the metropolis, and the secretary of this and the boundary marker.
If it seems good to you, therefore, lord, send them to us immediately while we are sitting in the field.
And if the gods wish, we will greet you tomorrow.
