"After the consulship of Flavius Basilios the most illustrious in the eighth year of the indiction, Flavius Dioskoros, son of Apollos, from the village of Aphrodite of the Antaiopolites, of the district of Psais Bēsios, from the mother Tasais, elder from the same village of Aphrodite, greetings. I acknowledge that through this document of mine, I owe you and am indebted in a pure and unquestionable manner, for the three arouras of sown land given to me by you from the place of Athanasius, situated in a fertile land, near the rich land, for the deposit of grain upon the harvest with God in the thirteenth year of the indiction, two golden coins and one artab of wheat. And I am ready to pay you for the third payment of the public, first the two (?), and the third upon the harvest of the same thirteenth year of the indiction, the mentioned coins each two keratia, without any deceit, being all my obligations until full payment; and for everything, having been asked, I acknowledged. As for the wheat in the time of the harvest with God of the same indiction. Psais Bēsios, elder, the one mentioned, agrees with me as stated. Aurelius Ioannis Victor, having been authorized, wrote letters on behalf of him without knowing."

† After the consulship of Flavius Basilius, the most illustrious, in the eighth year, Mesore 23, indiction 13.
To Flavius Dioskoros, son of Apollos, the most admirable, from the village of Aphrodite in the Antaiopolite nome.
† Psais, son of Besios, from his mother Tasais, presbyter from the same village of Aphrodite, greetings.
I acknowledge by this written security of mine that I owe and am indebted to you clearly and without doubt,
for seed, tax, and irrigation of three arouras of land sown by me from you,
from the place called Athanasia, situated in the surrounding grain-bearing small plot, near fertile land,
for the sowing of wheat for the crop, God willing, of the fourteenth indiction,
two and one-third gold solidi and one artaba of wheat and two (?)...
And I am ready to pay these to you at the third installment of the public tax,
first the two (?), and the third at the harvest of the same thirteenth indiction,
each of the aforementioned solidi at two keratia, without any deceit,
with all my property pledged until full payment; and having been questioned about all these things, I acknowledged them.
And the wheat at the time of threshing, God willing, in the same fourteenth indiction. ⳨
Psais, son of Besios, presbyter, the aforementioned, agrees with me as stated above.
I, Aurelius Ioannes, son of Victor, having been requested, wrote on behalf of him who does not know letters.
Flavius Menas, son of Joseph, I witness to the debt.
Written by me, Pilatos, the lawyer.
