αὐτα γ̣ε̣[1] ὁ χειμὼν αὐτ̣ ̣ ̣ ̣ ̣ ̣ ̣ χαρίζοιο ἂν οὖν ἡμῶν ἐν τάχει ἐπι- στατήσας ἵνα κατασκευασθῆι ⟦ἐν τάχ⟧ ⟦ἐν τάχει⟧ καὶ μὴ τὸν πλείω χρόνον ὕπαιθρα ὄντα καταφθείρηται.
μύρο]υ̣ ἵν̣ιο̣ν̣ κ̣[αὶ ὡς] ἂν ἀ̣π̣ο̣( ) Κ̣ρ̣[ί]των, πέμψαι σοι εἰς Ν[αύ-] κρατιν ἢ Ἑρμοῦ πόλιν. ἡμεῖς [δὲ] οὐχ ὑπομενοῦμεν αὐτόν, ἀλλὰ γράψ(ομεν) αὐτῶι καὶ τὴν παρὰ σοῦ ἐπ(ιστολὴν) ἀπο(στελοῦμεν), καὶ ὡς ἂν τάχιστα συμμείξηι ἡμῖν ἀποστελοῦμέν σοι. ἐκομισά- μεθ[α] δὲ καὶ μερίδα μοσχ̣έαν.

"These things, therefore, the winter of ours, may grant us quickly, having appointed a supervisor, so that it may be prepared quickly and not be destroyed in the open air for a longer time.
Send to you some myrrh, and as it may be from Crete, we do not endure him, but we will write to him and send the letter from you, and as soon as it may be, we will send it to you. We have also brought a portion of the young calf."
