ἐπρίατο Ἡλιόδωρος ὁ ἐπάνω ἀργυρίου δραχμῶν πεντακοσίων καὶ τῶν γεινομένων πάντων. βεβαιοῖ καὶ προπωλεῖ κατὰ τὸν νόμον Λυσίας ὁ ἀποδόμενος καὶ ἐξεδέξατο, ἐάν τις ἐμποιηθῇ τοῦ πεπραμένου δούλου καὶ τοῦ μέρους ἡμίσους ἀμπέλου, αὐτὸν ἀντικαταστάντα καθαροποιήσειν τῷ Ἡλιοδώρῳ· ἐάν δὲ μὴ καθαροποιήσῃ, βλαβῇ δέ τι ὁ Ἡλιόδωρος διὰ ταῦτα, ἐκτίσειν αὐτῷ πᾶν ὃ ἂν γένηται βλάβος διπλοῦν καὶ ἐπίτιμον δραχμὰς πεντακοσίας.

Lysias, son of Lysias, son of Heliodorus, son of Aristonikos, a citizen of Europus, sold his slave named Achabous, about twenty years old, and also his half-share of a vineyard located in the planted area near Nabagata, close to the village called Baeirios, from the property shared with his brother Heliodorus, son of Lysias, who owns the remaining half-share of the same vineyard.
The same slave and half-share of the vineyard were assigned to Lysias along with others according to the division made with his aforementioned brother Heliodorus, according to a legal decision recorded in the local archive in the current year and past month.
Heliodorus, the aforementioned brother, purchased it for five hundred drachmas of silver and all associated rights. Lysias, the seller, guarantees and confirms the sale according to the law, and undertakes that if anyone disputes the sold slave or half-share of the vineyard, he will defend and clear the title for Heliodorus. If he fails to do so and Heliodorus suffers any loss thereby, he will pay double the amount of the loss and an additional penalty of five hundred drachmas.
