[To Apollonius, strategos of the Apollonopolite nome]
[(of the Heptakomia district)]
From Pseathyris the younger, son of Pseathyris, and Senpachompsais the younger, daughter of Pseathyris, [both] from the metropolis.
Since our lord Hadrian Caesar, in addition to his other benefactions, has established that royal, public, and private lands should be cultivated according to the value of each, and not according to the old decree,
and since we ourselves have been burdened for a long time with public obligations concerning the administration of the metropolis, Pseathyris the younger for 12 2/3 arouras at 8½ artabas each, and Senpachompsais daughter of Pseathyris for 14 1/8 arouras at 8½ artabas each,
(totaling) 14 1/8 arouras, and having scarcely obtained this benefaction, we submit this petition, promising to cultivate the aforementioned 14 1/8 arouras, delivering for each aroura 1¼ artabas of wheat, accepting responsibility for unirrigated land and half-irrigated land according to custom.
Year 2 of Emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus, Tybi 15.
[Signed] Pseathyris the younger and Senpachompsais daughter of Senpachompsais, submitted as stated through Antais, son.
