σημεῖα τοῦ σταυροῦ ἐποίησαν,
καὶ αὐτοῖς ἐνεγράφη, ἐρωτηθεὶς
ὑπ' αὐτῶν, μάρτυς ὑπέγραψα,
καὶ τὴν χάρτην τῆς δωρεᾶς
ἐμῆς παρουσίας ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ
ταύτῃ ὑπὲρ τῶν ἁγίων
εὐαγγελίων παρέδωκα ὁρῶν.

The document of donation is made on this day of the three principal unciae in the entirety of the property of the Cells with all that pertains to it as previously read, made in the holy abbey of Saint John the Baptist, which is called the Ark, and through it in the same monastery by John the illustrious, the primicerius of the number of Ravenna, and by Stephanie, the honorable wife of the donors, who made the signs of the cross in my presence, and it was recorded for them. Being asked by them, I, the witness, subscribed, and I saw this document of my donation presented on this day over the holy gospels.
