Of the consulship of our lord Julian the Eternal Augustus, and of Flavius Salustius, the most illustrious governor of the sacred praetorium, to Gaius Julius Leucadius, general of Oxyrhynchus, from Aurelius Gennadius Julianus, from the accountants and Heracleides, and Timagenes Serenus, and Ammonius Apion and Sarapion Plutarchus, all the councilors of the city of Oxyrhynchus, overseers of the grain of Alexandria, we confess, swearing the sacred divine oath of our lord Julian the Eternal Augustus to have been received from the following registrants and to have been entered into the subordinate ship according to the canon of the fortunate new indiction of new clean wheat and unmoistened and outside of any cause established by public measure according to the command on the same wheat of the artabas. And we shall carry the load to the most illustrious Alexandria and we shall deliver it to the public treasuries there, full in number and upon the delivery of these to bring forth documents so that in no way we may be blamed or be liable to the divine oath. There is into the ship of the official, of which the governor is Germanus, from Oxyrhynchus the provisions of the artabas of which the guarantors are the landholder, Gennadius.
