Wishing to publish my son Ammon, who is not yet of the years to learn the art of geometry from the current tenth year of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, the teacher Apollonius of the same camp; therefore, I request that my son be registered among the students of the same year as is fitting. English Translation

To Apollonios and Didymos, topogrammateis (local scribes)
and komogrammateis (village scribes) of the city of Oxyrhynchus,
from Pausirios, son of Ammonios, of the laura (quarter) of the Hippian Camp.
Wishing to apprentice my son Ammonios, who is not yet of age,
to learn the weaver's craft from the present tenth year of Tiberius
Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus Emperor,
under the teacher Apollonios, son of Apollonios, of the same laura (quarter)
of the Camp; therefore, I request that my son be registered
among the apprentices of the same year, as is proper.
