Translation

English Translation

Of the grain-collector of the middle toparchy... the places indicated by you and Horion, the royal scribe, from the aforementioned grain-collection... to the harbor of Terythis of the great river, from the shipment of the most excellent procurator of Neapolis, wheat produce of the past 18th year, pure, unmixed, without impurities, unadulterated, sifted by the official half-artaba measure as ordered, with the supervision of all those appointed at the loading, together with one percent and a half-artaba, totaling 2,662 artabas, which I will transport to Alexandria and deliver safely and faithfully to the administration in Neapolis, free from any maritime wrongdoing. The receipt is issued in triplicate: two copies for you, the strategos, and one copy for the grain-collector.
