To Apollinarius, the strategos, from Pausirius Petshirius, from the village of Shephtha, while being engaged in the matters of the Nemean games. Since Didymus Amoius has sent me as one who has laid an ambush for Didymus, his son, concerning the grain, to be transferred to his son Didymus, of this memorandum, a copy, so that having it written down, a command may be made wherever the most excellent leader Avidius Heliodorus deliberates for good concerning the law, or he may adjudicate and persist until the judgment, in order that the event may be made clear. (In the year) 22 of the Emperor Trajan Hadrian Augustus.

To Apolinarius, strategos,
from Pausiris, son of Petsiris, from the village of Sephtha, residing in N[...]-meris.
Since Didymos, son of Amoitos, has informed me that his son Didymos was ambushed concerning wheat, I request that a copy of this memorandum be given to his son Didymos, so that, having a written instruction, he may appear wherever the most excellent governor Avidius Heliodorus is holding court for the good of the nome or administering justice, and remain until judgment, so that the truth of the matter may become clear.
Year 22 of Emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus, Mecheir 3.
I, Pausiris, son of Petsiris, have submitted (this).
