[From Aurelius] Theon, son of Didymos, [grandson of] Kteson, whose mother is Saraeus, [from the city of Oxyrhynchus], the [illustrious] city. Being now at the present time in my 53rd year, I declare myself to have been registered in the tenth quarter. Having received the appropriate part of the examination from the local public archive, I submit this memorandum so that I too may be enrolled among those newly added in the distribution, according to the regulations written concerning this matter. Year 5 of Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Severus Alexander, Pious, Fortunate, Augustus, Choiak 27. This is an extract from the public archive, from the rural examination, from the register of the first strategos for the 10th year, volume 8: Theon, son of Didymos, grandson of Kteson, whose mother is Saraeus, grandson of Neilos, without trade, without distinguishing marks, aged 29, examined at age 29, without distinguishing marks; and from the royal register for the 24th year, volume 1, sheet 5: Theon, son of Didymos, grandson of Kteson, whose mother is Saraeus, grandson of Neilos, aged 43, examined at age 43.
