Concerning all that he said against me, he has insulted. He has confined his own servants and mine together with my provisions and his son for a whole seven days into his underground chambers. He has insulted his own servants and killed my servant Zoe, having inflicted upon them the wounds, and he has offered fire to my provisions, stripping them completely bare, which the laws do not allow, and saying to those same servants that they should give all that is hers, and they said that they have nothing from us, but to the servants he said, being scourged, "What have you taken from my house?" Therefore, being tortured, they said that nothing of yours has been taken, but all that is yours is intact. But Zoi[los] answered him that he has also confined his servant, and he said to him, "Did you come because of your servant or did you come to speak against her?" And he swore in the presence of the overseers and his brothers that from now on he will not hide from her all my keys and I will hold them and he did not believe me nor did he insult her from now on. And it has become a marriage, and after these agreements and oaths, he hid again from me the keys into me. And having gone to the Lord's house on the Sabbath, he made the outer doors of his house to be locked upon me, saying, "Why did you go to the Lord's house?" And saying many lewd things to my face and through his nose, and concerning the public grain, having given nothing in my name nor even one measure. He has confined the volumes, holding them, saying, "Give the honor of the measures," having given nothing as I said before. And he said to his servants, "Give allies so that they may also confine her." And he was held by Choeus, his helper, for the public and he provided him with a pledge from Euthalamus and was not satisfied. I also brought another small thing and provided to the same Choeus. Having answered him to Antinoos, having with me the matter concerning my bath, with which I have small things, and he said to me that if you have anything with you, I will take them for what you have given to my helper Choeus as a pledge for his public matters. His mother will testify concerning all these things. And concerning Anillas, his servant, he remained, tormenting my soul, and in Antinoos and here, that he cast out this servant since she knows what she possesses, perhaps wanting to entangle me and with this pretext to take away if I have anything; and I did not allow her to be cast out. And he remained saying that after a month I will take political status for myself. But God knows these things.

Concerning all the insults he spoke against me:
He imprisoned his own slaves and mine together with my foster-children, and the steward and his own son, for seven whole days in his underground chambers.
Having abused his slaves and my slave Zoë, he killed them by beatings, and he applied fire to my foster-children, completely stripping them naked, which the laws do not permit, and saying to these same foster-children, "Give up all that belongs to her," and they said, "We have nothing of hers." And to the slaves, while whipping them, he said, "What have you taken from my house?" Under torture, they said, "We have taken nothing of yours, but all your possessions are safe."
Zoilos answered him that he had also imprisoned his own foster-child, and he said to him, "Did you come because of your foster-child, or did you come to speak about this woman?"
He swore in the presence of the bishops and his brothers, "From now on, I will not hide all my keys from her, and I trust my slaves but do not trust her, nor will I insult her henceforth." And a marriage agreement was made, but after these agreements and oaths, he again hid the keys from me. When I went to the church on the Sabbath, he had the outer doors locked against me, saying, "Why did you go to the church?" And he spoke many shameful things to my face and through his nose, and concerning the grain (artabas) of the public account in my name, he gave nothing, not even one artaba. He seized the account books, saying, "Give the price of the artabas," having given nothing, as I said before. He told his slaves, "Provide allies so that they may imprison her as well." His assistant Choous was arrested for public debt, and Euthalamos provided security for him, but he was not satisfied. I myself took another small amount and gave it to the same Choous. When I met him in Antinoou, having my bath money and some small ornaments with me, he said to me, "If you have anything with you, I will take it because of what you gave my assistant Choous as security for his public debts." His mother will testify about all these things. Concerning his slave Anilla, he continued to torment my soul both in Antinoou and here, because he expelled this slave since she knows all that he possesses, perhaps wishing to entangle me and under this pretext to take whatever I have. But I did not allow her to be expelled. He continued saying that after a month he would take a civil action against me. God knows these things.
