[We are willing to lease from you for a period of four years your olive palm that has been destroyed around the metropolis, which we will water, and we will provide all care for it, offering you in return for the tax per year of palms as much as you may choose for yourselves, the silver construction tax being given by us at half, of the reconstruction of the structures being done by us equally at half, and also to fill the property completely with earth, and for the repair of the water supply if it is necessary and of all public matters of the same olive palms being towards you, having for agriculture the two and a half aruras of the sown land of wheat from now until the time that is to come without tax, and of the other things being connected and being towards you. Of the consulship of Rufius Volusianus and Petronius Anianus of the most illustrious Phaiophis through me Apollon into the forthcoming time and watering after the three years at half.

[We wish] to lease from [you] for a period of four years your olive-palm grove near the metropolis, which has fallen into disrepair. We will irrigate it and undertake all necessary care, providing you annually as rent as many dates as you yourselves choose. Half of the silver tax for construction will be paid by us, and half of the rebuilding with bricks will likewise be done by us. Furthermore, we will also build up the property with earthworks to a complete elevation, and if necessary, repair the water supply and all public works belonging to the same olive-palm grove at our expense. We will cultivate the adjacent two and a half arouras of grain-producing land from now until the agreed-upon time without rent, with all public charges on these being yours, and the other taxes and obligations likewise being yours.
