may you attain all good things. This will be the greatest for me, beautifully
to entrust to you
while you are alive and after you have gone to the gods. Therefore,
make every effort to
allow you to be free at the end,
but if you do not see it as possible, this very
retreat of the
river, during which there is no danger, will allow you to do the same
with Theudorus left behind,
so that you may dwell during this time. Keep this in mind,
that nothing may happen to you that is painful, but everything will be
arranged for me that you may become untroubled.

Therefore, make every effort to secure your complete release; but if you see that this is not possible, at least [arrange] your departure from the river at a time when there is no danger, and it will be possible also for Theodore, who remains behind, to do the same, so that you may spend at least this time here. Keep this in mind, that nothing distressing will happen to you, but everything will be arranged by me so that you remain free from sorrow.
