In the year of the Emperor Caesar Lucius Septimius Severus, the pious Pertinax Augustus, in the month of Dystros of the Arab and Adiabene, in Ptolemaïs Euergetis of the Arsinoite nome. Heracles, son of Horion, acknowledges that he is without a mother from the time of his years, being without a right ankle, from her who has given him. Euphorus, as years go by, is to be made free from the agreement of Heracles for this liberation through the market and memorial in Ptolemaïs Euergetis, and of the great god Soukhus, with silver drachmas. And concerning these, let nothing be brought against the agreement of Heracles, nor any accusations, nor shall there be any coming against any of those belonging to the servitude, nor against Euphorus, nor against any other of those from her, nor against any of those born from now on. If he should come or accuse, the entry and the summons shall be void, and he shall also repay the damages and expenses of the agreement of Heracles to Euphorus, double and honorable silver drachmas, and into the public treasury the same, while the lords remain and those previously written. Known is the freedom of the son of Heracles from the time of his years, being without a right ankle. Heracles, son of Horion, has made the freedom of Euphorus and is pleased.
