It is necessary to be known in the general order.
Of the public affairs which proceed towards the renewal of the public -
it is evident outside the walls and the temples.
In every district, take care of the public matter.
Making provision according to the obligation -
to write the number of the aforementioned.
Pursue this with speed regarding the order of the command.
One Persian, indeed, to be cut off; for if anything of this sort should escape notice, you
must bring a talent of gold to the treasury accounts.
Those responsible for the cutting will bear the value of the loss.

Take care of the public interest, making appropriate provision with the necessary
diligence, to record the number of the aforementioned (properties?)
... to pursue this matter quickly according to the administrative order.
Indeed, (you must) cut down one Persian (tree?); for if something of this sort should escape notice and be dared,
you yourselves will be required to pay one pound (litra) of gold into the treasury accounts,
and those responsible for the cutting will bear the cost of the damage.
