I, Victorinus, have received the instrument (document) of Victorinus concerning the land in Silicio, having received two hundred and thirty folles (coins).
In the tenth year of the reign of King Gunthamund, on the sixth day before the Ides of November, Victorinus and his wife Fotta, sellers, from their Mancian estates under the dominion of Flavius Geminus Catullinus, perpetual priest (flamen), in the place and locality called Gemione in Silicio, sold a field containing eleven olive trees and one fig tree, bounded on the south by Gibba of Buresa, on the southwest by Victorinus the seller, on the northwest by water channels and slopes, and on the northeast by the road of Marinus of Buresa. From this day, Geminius Felix bought it for two hundred and thirty folles of money, which Victorinus and his wife Fotta received and took away with them. They sought nothing further from the signatories, and declared that nothing more was owed to them from the said price. From the day before the sale, it was their property, and from this day Geminius Felix transferred it to the above-mentioned buyer, that he and his heirs may use and enjoy it forever. If anyone wishes to raise a claim or question concerning the above-mentioned property or says it belongs to him, he shall pay the same price or double or whatever the property is worth at that time. The property is rightly given without fraud or deceit; fraud and deceit are absent and shall remain absent. Geminius Felix stipulated this, and Victorinus and his wife Fotta promised accordingly. Done at Tuletianos. I, Nobelianus, requested by Victorinus and his wife Fotta, who do not know letters, have written below, making their sign below, both for myself and for them. Sign of Victorinus X, sign of Fotta X. I, Nobelianus, requested by Magarius, who does not know letters, have made his sign. Sign of Magarius X. I, Saturninus, was present. I, Pulcherius, wrote and subscribed.
