ἀδελφὸς τοῦ μετὰ
Λύσ[ι]δος ἐπιστο-
λογράφου. φρόντισον
οὖν, ὅπως μὴ ἀδικη-
θῆι ὁ ἄνθρωπος, καὶ
γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ
ἐστιν ἐνταῦθα
περὶ Πετονοῦριν
τὸν δευτερεύοντα.
ἀποδοθήτω δʼ αὐ-
τῶι καὶ τὸ σύμβολον
τῶν

Timoxenos to Moschion, greetings.
The one delivering to you the letter is Philon, brother of the epistolary writer Lysidos. Therefore, take care that the man is not wronged, for his father is here concerning Petonourin, the subordinate.
Let the symbol of the (drachmas) also be delivered to him.

ὁ ἀποδιδούς σοι τὴν ἐπιστολήν ἐστιν Φίλωνος
ἀδελφὸς τοῦ μετὰ Λύσ[ι]δος ἐπιστολογράφου.
φρόντισον οὖν, ὅπως μὴ ἀδικηθῆι ὁ ἄνθρωπος,
καὶ γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ ἐστιν ἐνταῦθα
περὶ Πετονοῦριν τὸν δευτερεύοντα.
ἀποδοθήτω δʼ αὐτῶι καὶ τὸ σύμβολον τῶν ε (δραχμῶν).

The one delivering this letter to you is the brother of Philon, the letter-writer who is with Lysides.
Therefore, take care that the man suffers no injustice,
for indeed his father is here concerning Petonouris, the assistant.
Let the token for the five drachmas also be given to him.
