(The authority of them was taught by the Muse, as the most illustrious Eudoxius sent to the matters of those from Petos; and upon this he was angered against your wonder, as it was strong more than that one in the places, and holding back the matters from being harmed by their authority. And I know precisely that Eudoxius the most illustrious cannot pass through the matters at all, unless your wonder is unwilling. I have strived to not write to you any longer allowing anyone to pass through them and to serve them; but also whatever he received from the aforementioned matters, strive to have it returned to them through men held by you; for I do not endure anything to the lord Eudoxius concerning this, but certainly do the things that are written, so that you may not be found in the anger of that one, for I write nothing more than this to you.)
