Translation into English

This is a record of a deposit made by me, Paul, at the table of Dioscorus, presbyter, from the public account on the fifth of the indiction. I had eleven gold coins at the public standard, thirty and a half drachmas, which amounts to twelve coins at the public standard. The same Paul I noted in the year 753 (AD), Mecheir 7. I also had similarly from the same public standard, ten drachmas.

Receipt of me, Paul, banker. I received from Dioskoros, the presbyter, from the account of public taxes of the fifth indiction, 5, gold by the public standard, eleven solidi minus thirty and a half carats, total 11 solidi minus 30½ carats. I, the same Paul, have signed. Year 143, 112, Mecheir 7.
