I present the offense that has occurred against me for your education and the things I have suffered before this. Having suffered from Philoxenus, I presented to him a private document, and I filled in the things of the document, but from a certain tyranny and by force, I was prepared to present to him a document of a certain amount of gold, as your education has allowed, concerning barbarian children and household slaves and allies in my house; which I also reproached in your education as he was receiving this from a weak and unworthy person. Therefore, since now also, using the same study and injustice, he has confined me in private walls and has thrown me into the ground and into the future of men to be taken away according to his method, which he did not provide for me, concerning which I presented a document to him, I reproached this in your education, as it has been said, intending to speak in court concerning this. For this reason, I present this petition to your education, asking that he be compelled to bring these petitions to you.
